NSAB members are invited to join NSAB Connect. NSAB Connect is a members-only discussion group for sharing your research progress and concerns, as well as hearing from others about their experiences. It’s an opportunity for mutual learning as we delve into researching of our ancestors from Arabic-speaking countries.

Have you ever discovered a distant relative through genealogy but weren’t sure how to make contact? Did you lose touch with a family member and now want to reconnect to talk about your family history research? Whether through DNA matches, historical records, or social media, reaching out to unknown family members can be both exciting and challenging.

How do you approach these connections? What strategies have worked—or not worked—for you? Join us for our July 2025 NSAB Connect as we explore the best ways to initiate contact, navigate sensitivities, and build new family relationships. Come share your experiences and insights!

Even though a month may have a discussion focus, there will still be time for other topic discussions and for participants to share research updates and interests. NSAB Connect will be held every other month. Members will receive a log in email the day prior to the event.
